Elite Company – Returns & Refunds Policy (NZ)

Our Commitment

At Elite Company, we stand behind the quality of every piece we release. If something isn’t right, we’ll make it right - in line with New Zealand consumer law.

This policy applies to all purchases made through elitecompany.co.nz.

Your Rights Under New Zealand Law

Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Under the CGA, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product:

- Is faulty or defective

- Is not of acceptable quality

- Is not fit for purpose

- Does not match its description

These rights apply regardless of any store policy.

Change of Mind

We understand that sometimes things don’t work out.

If you change your mind, we offer store credit or exchange under the following conditions:

- Item is returned within 14 days of delivery

- Item is unworn, unwashed, unused, and in original condition

- Original tags and packaging are intact

- Proof of purchase is provided

Please note:

We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind returns

Shipping costs are non-refundable

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect:

- Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order

- Provide your order number and clear photos of the issue

We will cover return shipping and offer:

- A replacement, or

- A full refund, if a replacement is not available

Custom & Limited Items

Due to the nature of our brand:

Customised items (including personalised names or made-to-order pieces) cannot be returned for change of mind

Limited drop items are subject to availability for exchanges

This does not affect your rights if the item is faulty under the CGA.

Sale Items

Items marked as sale or clearance:

- Are final sale

- Cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind

- Faulty items are still covered under NZ consumer law.

How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, please contact us at: support@elitecompany.co.nz

Include:

- Order number

- Reason for return

- Photos (if faulty or damaged)

- Returns sent without approval may not be accepted.

Processing Time

Once your return is received and inspected:

- Exchanges or store credit will be processed within 5–7 business days

- Refunds (where applicable) will be issued via bank transfer

Elite Company releases limited pieces built with purpose. We encourage customers to check our Size Guide carefully before purchasing to ensure the best fit.
